I just heard of Legend Lake and would like to take my 12 year old up there this summer. Is there a place to rent a boat? How is the Northern fishing? Thanks!

I usually catch fair sized Bass on the lake, otherwise there seems to be plenty of Northern, but you have to work at it for the larger ones. Here's a couple of links for places in Shawano (on the way about 10 miles from Legend) where you might be able to rent a boat:
