Special Meeting, July 28, 2008

Chairman Wayne Towne called the meeting to order.

Commissioners Present: Wayne Towne, Susan Johnson, Bob Hermes, Tony Warrington

Jacque Fedders, Tom Moutvic, and Mike Bader.

Pete Harris and Michael Moroni from STS Consultants/Green Bay, WI explained what they have planned to do to fix the seeps in dam #3 of Legend Lake and answered questions about the repair.

Susan Johnson, Treasurer presented possible financing options with the State of Wisconsin to cover the cost for the dam repair.

Bob Cluka of 2 Bowstring made a motion to borrow $325,000 for the dam repair. Leo Welch of 23 Medicine Hat second. Motion carried

Roy Stephens of 42 Straight Arrow made a motion to have the membership set the terms of the loan. Earl Schultz of 80 Spirit Island second. Motion carried

Earl Schultz of 80 Spirit Island made a motion to take financing for 10 years. Roy Stephens second. The membership discussed this option. Motion failed.

Bob Cluka of 2 Bowstring made a motion to apply for financing for 5 years. Tracy Buckland of 28 Medicine Hat second. The membership discussed this finance option. Motion carried with 5 opposed.
