Hi All,

Like Missy,I grew up coming to Legend Lake. Many nights my dad and I fell asleep to the sound of a nearby Whippoorwill. Some nights it drove me nuts, now I'd love to hear one again. Anyone know if they're still up there?

Fast forward 25 years and now I'm looking to buy a 2nd home on the lake. Realtors are already supposed to notify me when new places hit the market, so please realtors, I'm covered on that front. If anyone is looking to sell By Owner, please drop me a line. Please post it here, I'll keep my eyes open.

I haven't heard a Whippoorwill to the extent we did years ago, but I have heard them a couple times in the last couple years. We have a pileated woodpecker that makes daily visits to our bird feeder, and a cardinal mom & pop.
