A suggestion was made at the June LLPOA Annual Meeting that a walking/biking trail would be nice for the Legend Lake area. The LLPOA Board of Directors agreed with this idea and at the last meeting decided to explore the possibility. Since this would be for foot and/or non-motorized vehicle travel it would be in compliance with the Managed Forest Plan as one of the permitted usages of the outlots.
There are some foot trails in various parts of the Legend Lake Development and so it could be a matter of connecting, mapping, and, perhaps, improving them. There may be a need for parking areas at trail entrances. There are just several ares to explore if there is interest in the project.
We need idea people, leaders, organizers and followers as well as walkers and bikers. We may need workers to develop areas of the trails. WE NEED YOU!!
