A letter has been worked out to send to the Menominee Tribal Legislature for the approval of 660 Ac to be treated for EWM this year.
Dam #3: Sand bags will be used to redirect the water back through the pipe where it should be.
No permits will be given to plant fish until a study is done.
Shore erosion at the site along V V due to boats plowing into the shore will attempt to be controlled by tree drops. It will also provide fish habitat.
Another tree drop will be done on an island in Big Blacksmith.
Volunteer hours estimated for 2007-8 are valued at $21,858.00 which will be applied for our grant application for Invasive Species Control.
The rails on the launching site at the lodge have been cut down to the ice for the present by order of the DNR.
We have 100% compliance in septic pumping card returns. Good work everyone!
