The Lake Faire held at the Lodge was well received. Lots of interesting information and a chance to talk to local entities. The Wild Ones were well received and would like to come back next time. It would be nice if more people took advantage of the Faire. The next one will be in 2 years.
The boating will be underway soon. Twenty-nine people under 18 and 3 over have signed up. There will be 3 new apprentice teachers, also.
Septic pumping cards are coming in steadily.
The fishing tournament scheduled for after July 4th has been canceled by the tribe due to concerns of VHS disease.
The Secchi testing program is under way, but we have lost half of our voluteers over the years due to attrition. Doing Secchi testing would be an easy way for weekenders to get involved monitoring the lake.
