Tried for a few hours in the channel by Brave Island this past weekend with no luck. Saw a few bass, but nothing was biting.

From last year I remember not really getting anything until the bluegills started to spawn, and as of last weekend didn't see any beds yet where i normally see them. Still too early yet?

Edited to add: Looked at some pictures from last year, looks like didn't start getting anything decent (from the dock/shore) until the last week in May and first week in June.
