Quilting Fever
It's really not a sickness.
When you catch the bug,
You look upon a quilt and
Feel your heart a-tug.
You suddenly get the urge
To try your hand at such,
And see how a quilt might look
Made with your own special touch.
You piece a block together
And cannot seem to stop.
You want to keep on sewing
Till you've finished the top.
You put the layers together
And start your needle through.
You finally get the hang of it,
Even though it's new.
Now you're really hooked
For you are the receiver
Of a fateful case of
"Quilting Fever."
